[ As chipper as Sophie might sound about this she wouldn't be if it had happened to her, and she also knows it ] It was a little too much, though, not all of it so thrilling. [ Someone's miss judgey today? ] I've read better in a boring book.
Does this one happen a lot, then? Fake lives and now truth? Could have added a little dare in, make it more enjoyable. [ Bad idea, Sophie ] Or is that being saved for later? I guess a good mystery's something.

Well, I hope that clears it up. If you were confused before just take a look at the last few days.
[ The last few days that she'd liked to ignore, thank you. Mostly. Especially the part where she was an alien ]
Because I can't see how this fits into a 'purpose'. [ You're all just kidnapped admit it ] More like a ridiculous story. [ Aliens? Science experiments gone wrong? Please ]

- [ She'd been running since the crash. It wasn't quite running away from anyone, more running in fear, in preservation. She'd heard the stories before, of others whom had crashed and not returned, and now it had happened to her. She didn't know where she was, not exactly, and as for fixing her ship? She might have known how to use it but she usually got it somewhere before it needed fixing.
Her running had gotten her into a town, night falling by the time she stopped. The garage was easy for her to see, and somewhere that looked quiet (and empty) enough that she could stay there for a little while - a moment to rest. It wasn't until after she'd made her way in that she found something even better, the possibility of finding something for her ship (as hopeless as fixing it might have seemed to her). Her thoughts of all around her lessened as she started looking for anything that looked like it could be of use, an occasional look around to see if she'd been seen (although apparently not enough looks around) ]

She was cut off from Nate, the team, and in some God forsaken strange place. It was a nightmare, honestly, and as much as she didn't believe a word of it (didn't want to) she could, at least, admit that it was strange
When the feed opens, voice only today, it isn't hers - or won't sound it, anyway. She's going French today, for now anyway. Desperate times call for alternate methods, and there's always more she can find out ]

Well this is quite a joke. Although I can't tell if the bigger one is the fact that the door isn't locked, or is that another test? [ She's annoyed, and certainly sounds it. And for anyone wondering she's blaming Sterling for this, or Starke ]
You know it won't last long. [ Sophie gives a small tap at her ear, and a little smile. They're listening (or so she thinks) ] Or have you forgotten? [ Although even she doubted that, given that Starke had just tried to kill her. She's not going to worry, or at least not show it. Nate'll show up, all she has to do is wait for his word ]
And nice trick on [ there's a small hand gesture ] everything. Very convincing with this... internet thing [ Because she doesn't believe a word of it. She knows a hackers work. And a con man's ]
